Dataset of Average Speeds of Merchant Ships transiting the Gulf of Aden

Dataset containing three files:

  1. real.csv: real-world dataset containing 2366 anonymized samples of average speeds of real-world merchant ships reconstructed from AIS records gathered from the VesselTracker website in 2008.
  2. uniform.csv:  dataset containing 10000 values of speeds uniformly distributed inside the [10, 20] interval: U(10,20).
  3. normal.csv: dataset containing 10000 values of speeds sampled from the normal distribution with mean value 15 and standard deviation 5/3: N(15,5/3) .
